Sometimes I get to excited about sharing that I just can't wait. This is what happen with this new website called remind 101. A colleague shared this site with me and I feel in love with it, but I didn't realize that she was planning on sharing it with are whole staff. I didn't mean to step on her toes but I threw it out in email on how it work for me before she got to share it. Sometime control my excitement is harder then I know.
About the site it is called Remind 101 there is also a FREE app for this- it's a safe way for teachers to text message students/players and keep in touch with parents. Developed by Brett Kopf and David Kopf, I have to agree with their statement with having a hard time to communicate between
teachers, students, and parents. Just last week, I said to my students did you get that email. I got that blank look on their face “what email.” To find a better way I found this site/app. Think for a minute, when you pick up your phone what do you check first? If your like me, you will check missed calls or missed messages. For me my email ranked 3rd in being
checked.
Hope you check it out, you may find it useful.
