So, I was trying really hard to get as much done before school started. I am able to now check off; kitchen back splash. Share early, early often! Liz

The start of this school year I have been a little more edgy. One reason my babies are all in school now. Such a big change. "The biggest decisions involve big trust... and big faith." Seeing my children go to school had me question if I making the right decisions for them but I need to trust and have faith in them and the Lord. Leap and go.... Big sis trying to help or just being over protective of little brother. She loves having a locker. This is a poster I made for my classroom. Share early, share often! Wish us all luck!
Each day we walked down the lane to the mailbox to get the mail. We usual play all sort of games but this day I said grab a bucket and fill it up. They seen things then never realized. I think they spent a least an hour just playing with their new findings. Sam wanted to make stone soup. Isabella became an Indian. Love this picture of her. I want to go back and edit it. FACE PAINTINGMy kids always want to paint. I imagine it is because they see mom painting and they want too. They rather paint themselves then paper. I guess if you face paint at home you don't have to wait in the long line at festivals. I loved it too.
Share early, share often! Liz "Final Count Down" by Europe is the song my husband likes to sing to me when my summer is almost over. He knows my stress level is through the roof. He loves to tease me, I gotta love him. This year will be bring about many changes for me. One of the changes is getting a new classroom. Many art teacher have abundance amount of supplies and I am no different. "Call me a pack rat". I had tears in my eyes just looking at the mess and the amount of work that awaited me. So, I reached out to some of my great students. I mean great, we knock out this mess in 4 hours. WOW, 2 months of work and many hours away from my family, done. A HUGE thank you to my students, I feel so blessed to have great students! I would like to wish them the best in their future endeavors. They gave me more then just a clean classroom but strength to continue to strive to be the best teacher I can be, for them.

Summer can be so amazing. One highlights are the nice cool nights. This night, I grabbed my camera and walk around the barn yard and just snap some photos. Potty training 101 has been going on all summer long. It's a struggle but we keep trying.
Share early, share often. Liz It all started when we were just sitting around outside. Isabella is begging for us to play with her because she is soooo bored. She brings us copy of the free magazine Oriental Trading. She said she wants the potato sack game. I said, I have potato sacks. I was the crazy lady that bought 50 bags at an auction for $2.00. The fun began... Then the drama of losing to her dad was to hard to take. Only if Isabella new how sore her daddy legs are from jump, she would realize she the winner. So team effort, now. Then it is time to cool down. RETREAT... He got us. It was a lot of fun and great laughter from us all.
