Ideas, ideas, ideas. Sometimes I feel this is a curse and sometimes a blessing, to be able to think of so many ideas. As a teacher I find my students challenged with coming up with the idea(s). I will hear them say, "I don't know what to do." Then after a minute of my time & collaborating with them the light bulb turns on.
Because, I am always thinking of ideas , I find myself overwhelm with to many. I will write them down in my sketch journal. I usually will also fill my pockets up with all these projects, ideas, and thoughts through out my day. I slide them into my journal for later keepings. I am alway saving for that one free day or moments. This year resolution is make the time for execution. Just DO IT!
My final thought for this post is doesn't have to be perfect. Every idea may not be perfect or great but I have so much more to gain by doing it. Below is example of two mugs two different students made. One turn out other end up in trash can by the student. I told him he probably learn more then successful one. I hope to keep this mind set for my own work.
My inspiration for writing this post was from reading this post Sara from First You Must Begin: The Unlikely Perfectionist. I hope you can check it out and be inspired too.
