A good friend is important in one's balance of life. Some people perfer lots of friends, where others like one or two great ones. Doesn't matter what you like but have that one tursted individual that only want to see you succeed, is priceless. Thanks too all that listen and gave me great advice this week.
This is a picture of a really great person, Stacey! She my colleague and friend that I think a lot of. But I am not the only one that thinks a lot of her; she holding a T-shirt and Rock with etching of bats on it (this being fitting for her second job is at a cave) these items were given to her from her students that want on field trip. They bought her the items because they knew she would LOVE THEM. She wore the T-shirt today and I know she put the rock in very special spot. Thanks Stacey, your friendship is in a very special spot of mine (my heart)! Thanks for the critique advice- the TU Lesson went great.
The Fun Box! That's what my kids and I created this summer to occupy our boredom. Isabella is good at asking questions like "What are we doing today?" If I say I don't know, she will always ask me, can we do the fun box. I think we all need one of these kinds of boxes. Put in all are ideas we wish we could do but never do.
Isabella and Sam really enjoy picking a new activity. This time the activity was drawing yourself.
Then after all this excitement inside we discover a FUN BOX outside in the barn. Look what I found!
We had so much fun finding these hidden treasures. I have been looking for a new toy box but totes are little pricey. Thanks Dad for bring the once thought of as junk over 5 year ago. "You never know what you have until you realize what you need." So, stay tune to see this box transform into Toy box or a Fun Box. Let the Fun Continue.. Leave a comment about what you would like to have in your fun box's!
It's about time! You know how that saying goes- "Practice what you Preach" or in my case "Teach." My students asked me if I have a blog and I said no. Their come back is, " Mrs. Humphrey you should". Family, friends and colleague have also been encouraging me to begin being a blogger. So here it is! I hope to inspire, enlighten, and most of all share my loves of art, technology, teaching, and family!
My kids are rockin' the cowboy boots. I thought this picture would be fitting for my first blog..... or my 1st steps into the blogging world.
If you have any comments about what I should name my site, I am all ears!
