Summer wouldn't be summer without baseball/softball. My sisters and I would throw the ball around all the time. When we became bored some sort of ball is what we resorted to (volleyball, softball, tennis ball, basketball).
Growing up with baseball fields practically in are back yard, the memories are so vivid. I loved playing barn ball- baseball games next to the diamonds. We use to take paper Pepsi cup from the trashcan and flatting it to use for the ball. Our hands made the bat. We wore the grass in from running the bases so much. I love the sound of the chatter and dark warm night, lit by the ball diamond lights. What fun memories. Now it my children’s turn.

Time to rest.
