In the spirit of thanksgiving my children and I had fun creating a thankful tree. We enjoyed the weekend sunshine by going outside searching for all the parts to create a Thankful Tree. I thought it would have more meaning finding things in our own back yard.
Thankful for: Corn- a great harvest & Tree branch- for shade and heat it provides us all year. I also added cornhusk and ribbon. Then the leaves are just old newspaper we cut up, hole punch, and wrote words that we are thankful for. Which is good practice for Isabella cutting, writing, comprehension skills.
This idea came from my FAVORITE blog http://ashleyannphotography.com/blog/ which she found it from Simply Vintagegirl. Keep the train reaction going, I hope you try it out too!
